How long does the Peugeot manufacturer warranty last?
Every new Peugeot comes with a 3-year warranty, confirmed directly on Peugeot's own UK site: unlimited mileage for the first two years, then capped at 60,000 miles in the third year (100,000 miles for commercial vehicles).
Electric and hybrid vehicles also get an 8-year warranty for their traction battery, on top of the standard vehicle warranty.
Repairs use Peugeot Genuine Parts, branded Mopar — the same Stellantis-group parts brand also used across Vauxhall, since both brands are part of the same corporate group.

Peugeot Care — the service-activated EV extension described below — is only available on the latest generation of all-electric Peugeot models, introduced progressively from November 2023 starting with the E-3008. It's not available on petrol, diesel, hybrid, or older electric Peugeots.
Peugeot Care — service-activated cover for EVs
On eligible all-electric Peugeots, Peugeot Care extends coverage for the electric motor, charging system, powertrain, and electrical/mechanical components up to 8 years or 100,000 miles from first registration — activated once your standard manufacturer warranty ends, by having your car serviced at a participating Peugeot retailer. Regular servicing at a participating retailer keeps the cover running until your next service.
You can still qualify even if some previous servicing was done outside the Peugeot network or by an independent trader, as long as your vehicle is under 8 years old and under 100,000 miles, and previous servicing followed the manufacturer's recommendations. If your vehicle isn't eligible for Peugeot Care, Peugeot's other extended warranty products (below) are the alternative route.
Peugeot's own Renewal and Extended Warranty
Beyond Peugeot Care (which is EV-specific), Peugeot offers a Renewal Warranty for continued cover after the standard manufacturer warranty ends. To qualify, your Peugeot needs to be under 3 years old and under 60,000 miles at the point of purchase — though renewal remains available up to 10 years old and 100,000 miles for anyone who already holds a Renewal, Approved, or Extended Warranty. It's available as an annual or monthly renewing policy, and is fully transferable if you sell the car.

A Peugeot bought as Approved Used comes with a 12-month warranty, available for vehicles up to 10 years old and 100,000 miles.
Keeping your warranty valid
You can have your Peugeot serviced at any VAT-registered garage, as long as approved Peugeot parts are used to meet the servicing requirements — you don't have to use a Peugeot dealer specifically to keep the standard warranty valid.
