MINI's own Insured Warranty
MINI sells its own extended warranty directly, called MINI Insured Warranty, with three levels — the same structure as BMW's equivalent product:
- Comprehensive — the highest level, covering most mechanical and electrical parts, including wear-and-tear degradation on specific components up to 100,000 miles. Not available once the car has passed 100,000 miles.
- Named Component — covers a wide range of components, also limited to vehicles under 100,000 miles.
- DriveLine — the most basic tier, available regardless of the vehicle's age or mileage.
The maximum claim limit is the purchase price paid for the vehicle (including VAT). You can choose to add an excess to lower the cost of your premium, and MINI Roadside Assistance can be added as an optional extra.
