Fiat's UK manufacturer warranty covers new cars for 3 years — made up of a 24-month manufacturer warranty plus a 12-month Additional Warranty, with unlimited mileage for the first two years and a 60,000-mile cap in year three. As a Stellantis Group brand, Fiat's warranty structure closely matches Vauxhall, Peugeot, and Citroën.

How long does the Fiat manufacturer warranty last?

Every new Fiat comes with a 3-year warranty, confirmed directly on Fiat's own UK site: a 24-month manufacturer warranty followed by a 12-month Additional Warranty, with unlimited mileage for the first two years and a 60,000-mile cap in year three (100,000 miles for commercial vehicles).

Electric and hybrid vehicles also get an 8-year warranty for their traction battery, on top of the standard vehicle warranty.

Repairs use Fiat Genuine Parts, branded Mopar — the same Stellantis-group parts brand also confirmed on the Vauxhall, Peugeot, and Citroën pages, since all four are part of the same corporate group.

WORTH KNOWING

Some US-focused sources quote a 4-year/50,000-mile Fiat warranty — this reflects the US market, not the UK. Fiat's own UK site consistently confirms the 3-year (24+12 month) structure described above.

Fiat's own Extended Warranty

Fiat's official Extended Warranty (branded Extended Care Premium Warranty) is provided by Stellantis UK Ltd and includes roadside assistance up to the same time/mileage limits as the warranty itself. You have 14 days from signing to cancel the contract. It excludes wear-and-tear parts — tyres, wheel rims/hub caps, spark plugs, clutch, brake discs/pads, the 12V battery, and high-voltage batteries (for wear-related issues on hybrid/electric models) — along with damage from accidents, fire, theft, frost, flooding, and force majeure events like war, riots, or natural disasters.

What's not covered

Beyond the exclusions above, Fiat's warranty doesn't cover routine scheduled maintenance items (oil and fluid changes, filter changes, wheel balancing, tyre replacement), damage to the vehicle's protective surface from scratches or chemical exposure, or body repairs carried out by workshops outside the Official Manufacturer's Network.
